Milk futures higher, cash dairy mixed

Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange closed higher even with mixed cash trade Monday.

December Class III milk up six cents at $19.36.  January 18 cents higher at $18.99.  February 13 cents higher at $18.26.  March up 12 cents at $17.85.  April through July contracts unchanged to a nickel higher.

Dry whey up $0.0025 at $0.3550. 

Blocks down $0.03 at $1.9325.  Four trades were made ranging from $1.9175 to $1.96.

Barrels up $0.01 at $2.5475.  Four trades were made ranging from $2.2475 to $2.2575.

Butter down $0.0275 at $1.97.  Three trades were made ranging from $1.97 to $1.99.

Nonfat dry milk up $0.0250 at $1.2625.  One trade was made at that price.
