Milk futures higher, cash dairy mixed

Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange reversed back to positive territory Friday after traders took back oversold positions with support from the cash market.

November Class III milk up two cents at $23.14.  December 39 cents higher at $15.98.  January up 33 cents at $16.64.  February 20 cents higher at $16.70.  March through May contracts a penny lower to a nickel higher.

Dry whey up $0.0175 at $0.4375. 

Blocks up $0.0475 at $1.6450.  Two trades were made at $1.5975 and $1.6550.

Barrels up $0.0225 at $1.4225.  One trade was made at that price.

Butter down $0.0250 at $1.3450.  Nine trades were made ranging from $1.3450 to $1.37.

Nonfat dry milk up $0.0050 at $1.0850.  Two trades were made at that price.
