Milk futures, cash dairy mostly lower

Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange continued to sell off Thursday pressured by declines on the cash market.

June Class III milk up four cents at $17.29. July down 15 cents at $16.82. August down 25 cents at $17.44. September 21 cents lower at $18.09. October through December contracts four to 16 cents lower.

Dry whey unchanged at $0.5925.

Blocks down $0.02 at $1.49. One sale was made at that price.

Barrels down $0.0650 at $1.57. Five trades were made at $1.5650 and $1.57.

Butter unchanged at $1.8050.

Nonfat dry milk down $0.0150 at $1.25. Four sales were $1.25 and $1.2525.
