Milk futures, cash dairy mostly lower

Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Friday continued to see market pressure as did most cash prices, especially cheese.

November Class III milk down 37 cents at $23.20.  December 72 cents lower at $18.70.  January down 35 cents at $17.25.  February 11 cents lower at $16.55.  March through May contracts a penny lower to six cents higher.

Dry whey unchanged at $0.4225. 

Blocks down $0.1550 at $2.3425.  One trade was made at that price. 

Barrels down $0.17 at $2.3175.  Four trades were made at $2.33.

Butter down $0.0075 at $1.43.  Three trades were made at $1.4250 and $1.4275.

Nonfat dry milk up $0.0075 at $1.0650.  Four trades were made ranging from $1.06 to $1.0650.
