Milk futures, cash dairy mostly lower

Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange ended the week mostly lower following a bearish supply and demand report and stronger dollar.

December Class III milk was down seven cents at $16.20. January 25 cents lower at $16.34. February down a dime at $16.73. March three cents lower at $17.34. April through June contracts unchanged to six cents lower.

Dry whey unchanged at $0.3950.

Blocks down $0.0450 at $1.58. Six sales were made from $1.5650 to $1.61.

Barrels down $0.0350 at $1.5550. Two sales were made at $1.55 and $1.5550.

Butter unchanged at $2.67.

Nonfat dry milk down $0.0075 at $1.1650. One trade was made at $1.16.
