Milk futures, cash dairy mostly lower

Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange started the week mostly lower Monday pressured by a stronger dollar and minimal cash movement.

May Class III milk down 11 cents at $16.46. June five cents higher at $17.04. July down six cents at $17.70. August two cents lower at $18.50. September through November contracts seven cents lower to unchanged.

Dry whey unchanged at $0.3275.

Blocks unchanged at $1.6125.

Barrels down $0.0150 at $1.5150.

Butter down $0.0150 at $2.43. One sale was made at that price.

Nonfat dry milk unchanged at $1.1975.
