Milk futures, cash dairy mixed

Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange were mixed Tuesday with global markets breathing hope into somewhat lower cash moves.

November Class III milk unchanged at $23.03.  December 58 cents lower at $16.16.  January down nine cents at $16.67.  February two cents higher at $16.53.  March through May contracts seven to nine cents higher.

Dry whey down $0.0075 at $0.4225.  One trade was made at that price. 

Blocks down $0.1475 at $1.77. 

Barrels unchanged at $1.40.  Three trades were made at that price.

Butter down $0.0175 at $1.3625.  Six trades were made ranging from $1.3625 to $1.3725.

Nonfat dry milk unchanged at $1.0825.  Eight trades were made at $1.0825 and $1.0850.
