Milk futures, cash dairy lower

Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange were lower at midweek, pressured by declines in the cash market.

August Class III milk down two cents at $20.06. September down 21 cents at $19.99. October down 30 cents at $20.35. November down 30 cents at $21.16. December through February contracts 10 to 36 cents lower.

Dry whey unchanged at $0.46.

Blocks down $0.01 at $1.76. One trade was made at that price.

Barrels down $0.0050 at $1.8750. Four trades were made from $1.8650 to $1.8750.

Butter down $0.0550 at $3.00. Eleven sales were made from $2.9925 to $3.0375.

Nonfat dry milk down $0.0050 at $1.54.
