Dairy markets closed mixed Wednesday

Dairy markets were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Wednesday.

The Class III milk futures for November were up $.02 to $16.84.  December was down $.03 at $15.73.  January was down $.07 to $14.96.  February was down $.05 to $14.96

Butter closed down $.0225 Wednesday at $2.2575.  One carload was sold.

Barrels were unchanged at $1.70.

40-pound blocks were down $.005 at $1.7150.  One carload of blocks were sold at $1.71.

Nonfat dry milk closed up $.0025 Wednesday at $.7450 per pound.  Nine carloads were sold with two going at $.7475.
