CME milk steady to higher, cash dairy mostly down Monday

Milk futures were steady to slightly higher and cash dairy prices were mostly down Monday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

November Class III milk was up $0.03 at $21.17.  December was up $0.01 at $19.52.  January was unchanged at $19.40.  February was unchanged at $19.60.  March through September contracts ranged from unchanged in April and July to ten cents lower in June. 

Dry whey remained unchanged at $0.44.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese blocks were up $0.0025 to $2.06.  One sale was recorded at that price..

Cheese Barrels were down $0.03 at $2.06.  No sales were recorded.

Butter was down $0.01 at $3.19.  No sales were recorded.

Nonfat dry milk was unchanged at $1.42.   No sales were recorded.
