CME: milk mixed & cash dairy prices down Monday

Milk futures were down in the near months and cash dairy prices were down Monday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December Class III milk was down $0.14 at $20.17.  January was down $0.04 at $20.02.  February was down $0.03 at $19.76.  March was up $0.21 at $20.01.  April through October contracts ranged from five cents lower in July to three cents higher in May. 

Dry whey remains unchanged at $0.44.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese blocks were down $0.250 at $2.1250.   Two sales were recorded at $2.1150 and $2.1250.

Cheese Barrels were unchanged at $1.8175.  No sales were recorded.

Butter was down $0.0175 closing at $2.93.  One sale was recorded at that price.

Nonfat dry milk was down $0.0075 at $1.39.   No sales were recorded.
