CME milk futures mostly up, cash dairy steady to down Tuesday

Milk futures were mostly up and cash dairy prices steady to down Tuesday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

November Class III milk was down $0.02 at $20.88.  December was up $0.50 at $20.97.  January was up $0.42 at $20.15.  February was up $0.39 at $20.10.  March through October contracts ranged from seven cents higher in October to thirty cents higher in March. 

Dry whey was down $0.01 at $0.4350.  Two sales were recorded at $0.4350 and $0.4375.

Cheese blocks were down $0.0050 at $2.0250.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese Barrels were unchanged at $1.9850.  No sales were recorded.

Butter lost most of Monday’s gains, falling $0.07 to $2.80.  There was one sale recorded at that price.

Nonfat dry milk was unchanged at $1.3850.  No sales were recorded.
