CME milk futures mostly higher, cash dairy mixed Tuesday

Milk futures were mostly higher and cash dairy prices were mixed Tuesday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

September Class III milk was down $0.08 at $19.67.  October closed up $0.15 at $20.09.  November was up $0.01 at $20.70.  December was up $0.07 to $20.90.  January through July contracts ranged from two cents lower in February to twenty-two cents higher in April. 

Dry whey was down $0.02 to $0.4450.  Two sales were recorded at $0.4450 and $0.45.

Cheese blocks were down $0.0050 closing at $1.76.  Two sales were recorded at $1.76 and $1.7625.

Cheese Barrels were up $0.0175 at $1.8750. One sale was recorded at that price.

Butter closed $0.02 higher at $3.12.  No sales were recorded.

Nonfat dry milk closed $0.175 higher at $1.5375.  Three sales were recorded from $1.53 to $1.5375.
