CME milk futures mostly down, cash dairy mixed Friday

Milk futures were mostly down, and cash dairy prices were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Friday.

July Class III milk was up $0.15 at $22.79.  August closed down $0.09 to $21.75.  September closed up $0.09 at $22.29.  October was down $0.09 to $22.47.  November through June contracts ranged from nineteen cents lower in January to ten cents higher in April.

Dry whey was unchanged at $0.49.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese Blocks were up $0.0250 at $2.11. One sale was recorded at that price.

Cheese Barrels were down $0.0050 at $2.1825.  No sales were recorded.

Butter went up $0.03 to $2.97.  There were 22 sales ranging from  $2.9225 to $2.97.
