CME milk futures mostly down, cash dairy mixed Friday

Milk futures were mostly down and cash dairy prices were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Friday.

August Class III milk was up $0.08 at $20.02.  September closed down $0.18 at $19.30.  October was unchanged at $20.06.  November was down $0.02 to $20.40.  December through July contracts ranged from unchanged in March to twenty-five cents lower in April. 

Dry whey was up $0.0150 at $0.4350.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese blocks were up $0.02 closing at $1.7850.  Two sales were recorded at $1.7650 and $1.78.

Cheese Barrels were up $0.0450 at $1.7925.  Three sales were recorded from $1.77 to $1.80.

Butter went down $0.04 closing at $3.01.  No sales were recorded.

Nonfat dry milk was down $0.07 at $1.5025. Thirteen sales were recorded from $1.4950 to $1.5050.
