CME milk futures mixed, cash dairy up Thursday

Milk futures were mixed and cash dairy prices were up Thursday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

November Class III milk was down $0.04 at $20.96.  December was down $0.05 at $21.53.  January was up $0.16 at $20.84.  February was up $0.04 at $20.58.  March through October contracts ranged from seven cents lower in July to twenty-six cents higher in September and October. 

Dry whey was up $0.0050 at $0.44.  Two sales were recorded at that price.

Cheese blocks were up $0.07 at $2.1350.  Two sales were recorded at $2.13 and $2.1350.

Cheese Barrels were up $0.03 at $2.04.  Two sales were recorded at that price.

Butter was up $0.0025 at $2.9050.  There were three sales ranging from $2.8825 to $2.91.

Nonfat dry milk was up $0.0150 at $1.40.  Two sales were recorded at $1.40 and $1.4025.
