CME milk futures mixed, cash dairy steady to higher Monday

Milk futures were mixed and cash dairy prices were steady to higher Monday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February Class III milk was unchanged at $17.94.  March was down $0.05 at $18.01.  April was down $0.02 at $18.37.  May was up $0.08 at $18.85.  June through December contracts ranged from five cents lower in September to thirteen cents higher in June.

Dry whey was up $0.01 at $0.4350.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese blocks were up $0.01 at $1.8725.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese barrels remained unchanged at $1.57.  Three sales were recorded from $1.5750 to $1.58.

Butter was up $0.0225 at $2.4350.  Four sales were recorded from $2.43 to $2.4350.

Nonfat dry milk remained unchanged at $1.2650.  No sales were recorded.
