CME milk futures lower, cash dairy mixed Wednesday

Milk futures were lower and cash dairy prices were mixed Wednesday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June Class III milk was down $0.15 at $15.41.  July was down $0.17 at $16.15.  August was down $0.19 at $17.00.  September was down $0.18 at $17.95.  October through April contracts ranged from four cents lower in November to fifteen cents lower in April.

Dry whey was down $0.0050 at $0.27.  Eleven sales were recorded from $0.27 to $0.28.

Cheese blocks were down $0.01 at $1.42.  Fourteen sales were recorded from $1.4150 to $1.43.

Cheese barrels were up $0.0025 at $1.4975.  Eleven sales were recorded from $1.4950 to $1.4975.

Butter was up $0.0250 at $2.4550.  One sale was recorded at that price.

Nonfat dry milk was down $0.0075 at $1.1550.  One sale was recorded at that price.
