CME milk futures lower, cash dairy mixed Friday

Milk futures were lower and cash dairy prices were mixed Friday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February Class III milk was down $0.26 at $18.06.  March was down $0.15 at $18.01.  April was down $0.17 at $18.18.  May was down $0.15 at $18.55.  June through December contracts range from eighteen cents lower in November to four cents higher in December.

Dry whey was up $0.0150 at $0.3275.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese blocks were unchanged at $1.96.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese barrels were down $0.0375 at $1.5525.  Seven sales were recorded from $1.55 to $1.56.

Butter was up $0.0050 at $2.2725.  One sale was recorded at $2.2675.

Nonfat dry milk was down $0.01 at $1.1525.  Nine sales were recorded from $1.1525 to $1.16.
