CME milk futures lower, cash dairy mixed Friday

Milk futures were mostly lower and the cash dairy market was mixed Friday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April Class III milk was down $0.36 at $19.10.  May was down $0.14 at $18.47.  June was down $0.13 at $18.47.  July was down $0.01 at $19.00.  August through February contracts ranged from seven cents lower in November to two cents higher in August.

Dry whey was up $0.0075 at $0.4475.  One sale was recorded at that price.

Cheese blocks were down $0.0750 at $1.85.  Two sales were recorded at that price.

Cheese barrels were down $0.0675 at $1.8075.  Seven sales were recorded from $1.8050 to $1.8075.

Butter was unchanged at $2.3975.  No sales were recorded.

Nonfat dry milk was up $0.0125 at $1.16.  Two sales were recorded at $1.15 and $1.16.
