CME milk futures lower, cash dairy market stagnant Monday

Milk futures were lower and the cash dairy market had no movement Monday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April Class III milk was down $0.17 at $19.76.  May was down $0.10 at $19.02.  June was down $0.17 at $18.60.  July was down $0.13 at $18.88.  August through February contracts ranged from five cents lower in August to two cents higher in October.

The cash dairy market had a rare day where no prices changed, and nothing sold.

Dry whey was unchanged at $0.4450.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese blocks were unchanged at $2.10.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese barrels were unchanged at $1.9625.  No sales were recorded.

Butter was unchanged at $2.3450.  No sales were recorded.

Nonfat dry milk was unchanged at $1.15.  No sales were recorded.
