CME milk futures higher, cash dairy lower Thursday

Milk futures were mostly higher and the cash dairy market was steady to lower Thursday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April Class III milk was down $0.04 at $19.46.  May was up $0.11 at $18.61.  June was up $0.13 at $18.60.  July was up $0.08 at $19.01.  August through February contracts ranged unchanged in January and February to eleven cents higher in November.

Dry whey was down $0.0025 at $0.44.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese blocks were down $0.01 at $1.9250.  One sale was recorded at that price.

Cheese barrels were down $0.03 at $1.8750.  No sales were recorded.

Butter was unchanged at $2.3975.  Five sales were recorded from $2.3975 to $2.4150.

Nonfat dry milk was unchanged at $1.1475.  No sales were recorded.
