CME milk futures down, cash dairy mixed Monday

Milk futures were lower and cash dairy prices were mixed Monday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June Class III milk was down $0.10 at $15.19.  July was down $0.17 at $15.97.  August was down $0.12 at $16.87.  September was down $0.02 at $17.74.  October through April contracts ranged from thirteen cents lower in October to ten cents higher in March.

Dry whey was up $0.0075 at $0.2650.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese blocks were unchanged at $1.43.  Six sales were recorded from $1.43 to $1.4450.

Cheese barrels were up $0.0375 at $1.55.  Five sales were recorded from $1.53 to $1.55.

Butter was down $0.0425 at $2.4025.  Five sales were recorded, ranging from $2.4025 to $2.44.

Nonfat dry milk was down $0.0075 at $1.1625.  Seven sales were recorded from $1.1625 to $1.1650.
