CME milk futures & cash dairy trade mixed Friday

Milk futures and cash dairy prices were mixed to end the week on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Friday.

August Class III milk was up $0.10 at $20.13.  September closed down $0.11 at $20.10.  October was down $0.03 at $20.81.  November was up $0.12 to $21.35.  December through July contracts ranged from unchanged in December to thirty-three cents higher in June. 

Dry whey was unchanged at $0.4450.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese blocks were up $0.0050 at $1.8450.  Two sales were recorded at $1.84 and $1.8450.

Cheese Barrels were down $0.04 at $1.8875.  Four sales were recorded from $1.8875 to $1.89.

Butter went down $0.04 closing at $2.9350.  Nine sales were recorded from $2.9250 to $2.9725.

Nonfat dry milk was unchanged at $1.5175. Seven sales were recorded from $1.5150 to $1.5225.
