CME milk futures & cash dairy prices mostly up Tuesday

Milk futures and cash dairy prices were mostly higher Tuesday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

May Class III milk was unchanged at $17.47.  June was up $0.04 at $17.87.  July was up $0.01 at $18.43.  August was up $0.03 at $19.00.  September through March contracts ranged from seven cents lower in March to three cents higher in August.

Dry whey was up $0.0275 at $0.3775.  Seven sales were made from $0.3775 to $0.38.

Cheese blocks were unchanged at $1.7650.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese barrels were up $0.0025 at $1.5150.  Three sales were recorded from $1.51 to $1.5150.

Butter was up $0.0175 at $2.37.  No sales were recorded.

Nonfat dry milk was up $0.0075 at $1.13.  No sales were recorded.
