CME milk futures, cash dairy prices down Wednesday

Milk futures and cash dairy prices all closed lower Wednesday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

March Class III milk was down $0.28 at $17.75.  April was down $0.08 at $17.59.  May was down $0.14 at $17.90.  June was down $0.13 at $18.45.  July through January contracts ranged from unchanged in January to sixteen cents lower in July.

Dry whey was down $0.01 at $0.4475.  One sale was recorded at $0.45.

Cheese blocks were down $0.01 at $1.90.  One sale was recorded at that price.

Cheese barrels were down $0.0375 at $1.5525.  Two sales were recorded at $1.5525 and $1.59.

Butter was down $0.07 at $2.38.  Two sales were recorded at $2.38 and $2.39.

Nonfat dry milk was down $0.0025 at $1.1775.  One sale was recorded at that price.
