CME milk futures, cash dairy prices down Monday

Milk futures and cash dairy prices were all lower Monday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

July Class III milk was down $0.49 at $14.86.  August was down $0.44 at $15.68.  September was down $0.50 at $16.77.  October was down $0.30 at $17.70.  November through May contracts ranged from unchanged in April to twenty-five cents lower in November.

Dry whey was down $0.0025 at $0.2625.  Thirteen sales were recorded from $0.2625 to $0.2650.

Cheese blocks were down $0.0425 at $1.3625.  Nine sales were recorded from $1.3625 to $1.4050.

Cheese barrels were down $0.05 at $1.45.  Nine sales were recorded from $1.45 tol $1.4575.

Butter was down $0.06 at $2.36.  One sale was recorded at that price.

Nonfat dry milk was down $0.0075 at $1.1250.  Four sales were recorded from $1.1250 to $1.1325.
