CME milk futures, cash dairy prices down Friday

Milk futures and cash dairy prices were lower Friday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June Class III milk was down $0.34 at $15.29.  July was down $0.42 at $16.14.  August was down $0.38 at $16.99.  September was down $0.36 at $17.76.  October through April contracts ranged from unchanged from February through May to thirty-two cents lower in October.

Dry whey was unchanged at $0.2575.  Seventeen sales were recorded from $0.2550 to $0.2575.

Cheese blocks were down $0.0725 at $1.43.  One sale was recorded at that price.

Cheese barrels were up $0.0025 at $1.5125.  Sixteen sales were recorded from $1.50 to $1.52.

Butter was down $0.02 at $2.4450.  Five sales were recorded, ranging from $2.4450 to $2.47.

Nonfat dry milk was unchanged at $1.17.  No sales were recorded.
