CME milk futures & cash dairy prices closed lower Friday

Milk futures and cash dairy prices were all lower Friday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April Class III milk was down $0.06 at $18.62.  May was down $0.26 at $17.69.  June was down $0.20 at $17.99.  July was down $0.21 at $18.53.  August through February contracts ranged from nineteen cents lower in September to three cents higher in February.

Dry whey was down $0.0075 at $0.3625.  Six sales were recorded from $0.3625 to $0.37.

Cheese blocks were down $0.0175 at $1.7750.  Five sales were made from $1.7750 to $1.78.

Cheese barrels were down $0.0350 at $1.5125.  Seventeen sales were recorded, ranging from $1.5125 to $1.52.

Butter was down $0.0175 at $2.3275.  One sale was recorded at that price.

Nonfat dry milk was down $0.03 at $1.13.  No sales were recorded.
