CME milk futures, cash dairy mostly lower Tuesday

Milk futures and cash dairy prices were lower Tuesday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June Class III milk was down $0.32 at $15.56.  July was down $0.26 at $16.32.  August was down $0.22 at $17.19.  September was down $0.24 at $18.13.  October through April contracts ranged from unchanged in March to twenty-six cents lower in December.

Dry whey remained unchanged at $0.2750.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese blocks were down $0.0475 at $1.43.  Eight sales were recorded from $1.43 to $1.4550.

Cheese barrels were up $0.0050 at $1.4950.  One sale was recorded at that price.

Butter was unchanged at $2.43.  No sales were recorded.

Nonfat dry milk was down $0.0075 at $1.1625.  Two sales were recorded at that price.
