CME milk futures, cash dairy mostly higher to end the week

Milk futures were higher and cash dairy prices were mostly up Friday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

September Class III milk was up $0.16 at $19.75.  October closed up $0.42 at $19.94.  November was up $0.45 at $20.69.  December was up $0.28 to $20.83.  January through July contracts ranged from fourteen cents lower in July to thirty cents higher in February. 

Dry whey was down $0.0050 to $0.4650.  One sale was recorded at that price.

Cheese blocks were up $0.03 closing at $1.7650.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese Barrels were up $0.0075 at $1.8575. One sale was recorded at that price.

Butter closed $0.0075 higher at $3.10.  Five sales were recorded from $3.0950 to $3.1225.

Nonfat dry milk was unchanged at $1.52.  Nine sales were recorded from $1.51 to $1.5250.
