CME milk futures, cash dairy mixed Tuesday

Milk futures and cash dairy prices were mixed Tuesday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

January Class III milk was up $0.02 at $19.48.  February was down $0.05 at $18.54.  March was down $0.11 at $18.18.  April was up $0.02 at $18.56.  May through December contracts ranged from five cents lower in July to one cent higher in June.

Dry whey was up $0.0025 at $0.3350.  Ten sales were made from $0.3325 to $0.35.

Cheese blocks were up $0.0275 at $2.0275.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese barrels were up $0.01 at $1.7175.  Four sales were recorded from $1.7050 to $1.72.

Butter was down $0.0075 at $2.4175.  No sales were recorded.

Nonfat dry milk was down $0.0125 at $1.2425.  Three sales were recorded from $1.2375 to $1.2475.
