CME milk futures & cash dairy mixed at close Wednesday

Milk futures and cash dairy prices were mixed Wednesday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December Class III milk was up $0.09 at $21.92.  January was up $0.05 at $20.86.  February was down $0.04 at $20.45.  March was down $0.09 at $20.41.  April through October contracts ranged from nine cents lower in March to three cents higher in June. 

Dry whey remains unchanged at $0.44.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese blocks were up $0.0075 at $2.2325.   No sales were recorded.

Cheese Barrels were down $0.02 at $2.0325.  No sales were recorded.

Butter was up $0.0125 at $2.9525.  No sales were recorded.

Nonfat dry milk was down $0.0250 at $1.44.   Two sales were recorded at $1.4375 and $1.44.
