CME milk futures, cash dairy down again Wednesday
Milk futures and cash dairy prices were lower again Wednesday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
January Class III milk was down $0.22 at $18.85. February was down $0.08 at $18.16. March was down $0.10 at $18.22. April was unchanged at $18.50. May through November contracts ranged from ten cents lower in November to twenty-three cents lower in August.
Dry whey was unchanged at $0.4150. No sales were recorded.
Cheese blocks were down $0.0250 at $1.9725. No sales were recorded.
Cheese barrels were down $0.03 at $1.7150. Two sales were recorded at $1.7350 and $1.74.
Butter was unchanged at $2.38. No sales were recorded.
Nonfat dry milk was down $0.0125 at $1.31. No sales were recorded.
