CME milk futures, cash dairy close week higher

Milk futures and cash dairy prices were mostly higher Friday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

September Class III milk was unchanged at $19.79.  October closed up $0.34 at $20.93.  November was up $0.46 at $21.55.  December was up $0.31 to $21.58.  January through July contracts ranged from one cent lower in June to fourteen cents higher in February. 

Dry whey was up $0.0075 at $0.4575.  Four sales were recorded from $0.4550 to $0.4575.

Cheese blocks were up $0.0675 closing at $1.9175.  One sale was recorded at that price.

Cheese Barrels were unchanged at $1.9325. One sale was recorded at that price.

Butter was up $0.0225 closing at $3.17.  Eight sales were recorded from $3.17 to $3.1825.

Nonfat dry milk was up $0.01 at $1.5750.  Seventeen sales were recorded from $1.57 to $1.5750.
