CME milk futures and cash dairy up Tuesday

Milk futures and cash dairy prices were up except for July milk on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Tuesday.

July Class III milk was down $0.04 at $22.50.  August closed up $0.47 for a second straight day to $21.17.  September closed up $0.19 at $20.74.  October was up $0.21 to $21.01.  November through June contracts ranged from up six cents in March to up fifty-three cents in December. 

Dry whey was up $0.0175 at $0.4650.  One sale was made at that price.

Cheese blocks were up $0.0425 closing at $1.9975. Five sales were made with prices from $1.9550 to $1.9975.

Cheese Barrels were up $0.0525 at $1.99.  Three sales were made with prices from $1.9550 to $1.99.

Butter went up $0.0275 closing at $2.9575.  There were twelve sales ranging from $2.9450 to $2.96.

Nonfat dry milk was up $0.01 at $1.68. Three sales were made with prices from $1.67 to $1.68.
