CME milk futures and cash dairy up Thursday

Milk futures and cash dairy prices were higher Thursday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

March Class III milk was up $0.08 at $17.76.  April was up $0.24 at $17.75.  May was up $0.24 at $17.99.  June was up $0.17 at $18.40.  July through January contracts ranged from one cent lower in January to seventeen cents higher in July.

Dry whey was unchanged at $0.44.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese blocks were up $0.0275 at $1.8250.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese barrels were up $0.0375 at $1.7350.  Eleven sales were recorded from $1.6950 to $1.7350.

Butter was up $0.0025 at $2.3325.  No sales were recorded.

Nonfat dry milk was up $0.01 at $1.1750.  Four sales were recorded from $1.1750 to $1.18.
