CME milk futures and cash dairy mixed Monday

Milk futures and cash dairy prices were mixed Monday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

November Class III milk was up $0.02 at $20.90.  December was up $0.12 at $20.47.  January was down $0.02 at $19.73.  February was down $0.10 at $19.71.  March through October contracts ranged from ten cents lower in April to seventeen cents higher in October. 

Dry whey was down $0.0225 at $0.4450.  Two sales were recorded at $0.4475 and $0.4550.

Cheese blocks were up $0.02 at $2.03.  Two sales were recorded at $2.02 and $2.03.

Cheese Barrels were up $0.01 at $1.9850.  Seven sales were recorded from $1.98 to $1.99.

Butter was up significantly for a second straight session, gaining $0.0975 to $2.87.  There were four sales ranging from $2.84 to $2.87.

Nonfat dry milk was down $0.0150 to $1.3850.  Three sales were recorded at that price.
