CME milk futures and cash dairy closed the week down

Milk futures and cash dairy prices were mostly down again Friday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December Class III milk was down $0.25 at $21.47.  January was down $0.06 at $20.70.  February was down $0.03 at $20.32.  March was down $0.19 at $20.20.  April through October contracts ranged from two cents lower in August to twenty-two cents lower in October. 

Dry whey hasn’t moved all week and remains unchanged at $0.44.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese blocks were unchanged at $2.2325.   No sales were recorded.

Cheese Barrels were down $0.0525 at $1.98.  Three sales were recorded from $1.9275 to $1.9450.

Butter was down $0.13 at $2.81.  Five sales were recorded from $2.80 to $2.94.

Nonfat dry milk was closed down $0.0125 at $1.4275.   Five sales were recorded from $1.4150 to $1.4275.
