CME milk futures and cash dairy closed lower Wednesday

Milk futures and cash dairy prices were mostly down on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Wednesday.

July Class III milk was up $0.01 at $22.51.  August closed down $0.50 at $20.67.  September closed down $0.42 at $20.32.  October was down $0.27 to $20.74.  November through June contracts ranged from thirty-five cents lower in December to sixteen cents higher in May. 

Dry whey closed down $0.01 at $0.4550.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese blocks were down $0.06 closing at $1.9375. Two sales were made at that price.

Cheese Barrels were down $0.0325 at $1.9575.  Two sales were made with prices at $1.95 and $1.9575.

Butter went up $0.0350 closing at $2.9925.  There were twenty sales ranging from $2.97 to $2.9925.

Nonfat dry milk was down $0.0150 at $1.6650. Two sales were made at that price.
