CME milk & dairy down again Monday except butter

Milk futures and cash dairy prices were all down again Monday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange with the exception of butter.

December Class III milk was down $0.22 at $21.25.  January was down $0.17 at $20.53.  February was down $0.33 at $19.99.  March was down $0.25 at $19.95.  April through October contracts ranged from eight cents lower in October to eighteen cents lower in April. 

Dry whey has been stalled for a week, and remains unchanged at $0.44.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese blocks were down $0.0325 at $2.20.   No sales were recorded.

Cheese Barrels were down $0.0850 at $1.8425.  One sale was recorded at that price.

Butter was the only commodity registering a gain Monday, up $0.09 at $2.90.  Six sales were recorded from $2.81 to $2.9050.

Nonfat dry milk was unchanged at $1.4275.   No sales were recorded.
