CME milk, cash dairy mostly lower to start the week

Milk futures and cash dairy prices were mostly lower Monday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February Class III milk was down $0.08 at $17.84.  March was down $0.27 at $17.46.  April was down $0.14 at $17.90.  May was down $0.13 at $18.28.  June through December contracts range from unchanged in December to thirteen cents lower in July.

Dry whey was unchanged at $0.4150.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese blocks were down $0.0150 at $1.85.  Three sales were recorded from $1.8125 to $1.85.

Cheese barrels were down $0.03 at $1.60.  Seven sales were recorded from $1.59 to $1.60.

Butter was up $0.0050 at $2.38.  Seven sales were recorded from $2.38 to $2.4075.

Nonfat dry milk was up $0.0050 at $1.25.  Four sales were recorded from $1.2475 to $1.25.
