CME milk & cash dairy closed higher Friday except cheese

Milk futures and cash dairy prices were up except for cheese Friday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

November Class III milk was up $0.11 at $20.88.  December was up $0.48 at $20.35.  January was up $0.30 at $19.75.  February was up $0.12 at $19.81.  March through October contracts ranged from eight cents higher in March to twenty cents higher in September. 

Dry whey was up $0.0150 at $0.4675.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese blocks were unchanged at $2.01.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese Barrels were unchanged at $1.9750.  No sales were recorded.

Butter was up $0.1050 at $2.7725.  There were five sales ranging from $2.67 to $2.7775.

Nonfat dry milk was up $0.02 to $1.40.  Six sales were recorded from $1.38 to $1.40.
