CME milk and cash dairy prices mixed at week’s end

Milk futures and cash dairy prices were mixed Friday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December Class III milk was up $0.09 at $20.29.  January was down $0.03 at $20.00.  February was unchanged at $19.89.  March was up $0.05 at $19.98.  April through October contracts ranged from unchanged in May and June to eighteen cents higher in October.

Dry whey remains unchanged at $0.45.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese blocks were unchanged at $2.10 and cheese barrels were unchanged at $1.8975 with no bids, offers, or sales recorded Friday.

Butter was up $0.02 closing at $2.90.  One sale was made at that price.

Nonfat dry milk was up $0.0125 at $1.36.   Four sales were recorded from $1.3575 to $1.36.
