CME milk and cash dairy mostly down Tuesday

Milk futures and cash dairy prices were mostly down on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Tuesday.

July Class III milk was down $0.01 at $22.54.  August closed up $0.17 to $20.46.  September closed down $0.13 at $20.44.  October was down $0.13 to $20.95.  November through June contracts ranged from unchanged in January, April, May, and June to sixteen cents lower in November.

Dry whey was down $0.0025 at $0.4625.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese Blocks were unchanged at $1.9750. No sales were recorded.

Cheese Barrels were unchanged at $2.01.  No sales were recorded.

Butter went down $0.0250 closing at $2.94.  There were 10 sales ranging from  $2.93 to $2.94.

Nonfat dry milk was down $0.0450 at $1.6450. Three sales were recorded from $1.6425 to $1.6450.
