CME milk and cash dairy mostly down Friday

Milk futures and cash dairy prices were mostly down Friday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October Class III milk was down $0.19 at $21.75.  November was down $0.18 at $20.63.  December was down $0.16 at $20.34.  January was down $0.04 to $20.26.  February through August contracts ranged from nine cents lower in July to four cents higher in April. 

Dry whey was unchanged at $0.44.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese blocks were unchanged at $1.9675.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese Barrels were down $0.0450 at $2.20. One sale was made at that price.

Butter was unchanged at $3.1450.  No sales were recorded.

Nonfat dry milk was up $0.02 at $1.57.  One sale was recorded at that price.
