CME dairy prices mostly down Thursday
Milk futures and most cash dairy prices fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Thursday.
August Class III milk was down $.05 at $15.98. September closed down $.29 at $17.07. October closed down $.30 at $16.90. November was down $.28 at $17.15. December through February contracts ranged from ten to eighteen cents lower. March through June contracts are also lower.
Dry whey was down $0.01 at $0.5050. One sale was recorded at that price.
Blocks fell $0.01 to $1.75. There were no sales.
Barrels went down $.0175 to $1.47. One trade was made at $1.50.
Butter closed down $.0025 at $1.70. There were no trades Thursday.
Nonfat dry milk was up $.0150 at $1.2850. No sales were recorded.
