CME dairy markets mixed Friday

Milk futures and cash dairy prices were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Friday.

June Class III milk was up $0.01 at $24.33.  July closed down $0.13 at $24.60.  August closed down $0.07 at $24.42.  September was up $0.02 at $24.38.  October through May contracts ranged from twenty-six cents lower in November to thirty-four cents higher in May.

Dry whey was up $.0025 at $.5575.  One sale was recorded at that price.

Cheese Blocks were up $0.0225 at $2.27.  One sale was recorded at $2.26.

Cheese Barrels were down $.03 at $2.2450.  Two sales were recorded at $2.2450 and $2.2550.

Butter was down $0.02 at $2.9150.  Four sales were made from $2.8975 to $2.9150.

Nonfat dry milk was down $.0075 to $1.8625.  One sale was recorded at $1.8675.
