The profit balance between too much and too little

University of Missouri Ag Economist Ray Massey says there’s a profit breaking point when deciding fertilizer application rates. “You may see a lower application rate to corn,” Massey told Brownfield Ag News, “which could mean that we have a few less bushels into the future.” There’s a profit sweet spot between too much holding back of fertilizer and over application.
