The 40th Anniversary of the Gerald Gentleman Station

This is the first in a series of reports on how Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD) is “Powering Nebraska”. Today, NPPD president and CEO Pat Pope discusses the 40th anniversary of the Gerald Gentleman Station (GGS), Nebraska’s largest electric generating facility, located near Sutherland. Pope says the development of the irrigation industry in Nebraska was one of the reasons that GGS was built.
